Leave application.

Ttc had a new policy. leave application form is back!
to reduce "SHIONG CHE" level in TTC, as well as last min replacement of class.
Now, you will have to fill in a form that will be filled in ONE WEEK before your LEAVE.
any leave application that CALLed within one week, will not be entertain. (only accept if urgent, or serious matter. dun tell me, wanna go out with friends... i seriously cannot accept throw class because wanna go out with friends, how about the students..? hmm..)

Sorry to be Mean...but i can feel that, TTC's change tutor rate for a dept. according to calculated.(based on ONE dept.) each month, each week, change 2 times. means the students has 3 different tutor in the month.
i was thinking that day when i was in my lecture at kasturi.. as i was waiting for my lecturer at 6.30pm.
IF...
IF...
im in the class, im the students. suddenly YOUR lecturer change into another one. and the following week...your lecturer changed again...how u will feel ? i can feel the impact...serious.

Liang J, sign off.

syllabus planning (PMR)

hey dude!
today 7th July, during the management meeting later, i will need to hang in the syllabus planning ad.

for my portion, i have allocated the timeline as follows.
assuming my students having trials on late august.

i left a good 7 weeks to cover my syllabus.
but seriously, how the hell im gonna cover the remaining 6 chapters (transformation, linear equation, linear inequalities, graph of function, ratio ll and trigo.). hell..

so my suggestion here is: for my PMR dept.
next week onwards:
12th july - 18th july transformation question (i finsihing teaching them left some question to discuss. then i will faster go into chapter linear equation and linear inequalities ad, * luckily i taught them some lienar equation during the holiday programme as the class game. phew~)
19th july - 25th july i will continue with linear inequalities, why i still go into this chapter, because, i believe i din really cover much in this chapter. last week, coz most of the time i will be there focusing on linear equation plus the wasted time on transformation questions. That's y need to do some L.inequalities Q)
26th july - 1st August graph of functions try to do as much as possible. type of question and still type of questions. pump them with questions.
2nd August - 8th August ratio ll, do all possible type question. if can start abit of trigo basic explaination.
9th August - 15th August trigo. pump and pump again.

P/S : to Jian wen (yellowcursedoll) and Steph, i will have some super shortcut and easy to remember SHORTcut to teach the chapter, so i need one day from ull to teach ull all the chapters and also discuss the chapters together. try to arrange a time before next week, ok u all ajak together ok ?

Thanks. LJ sign off with banner hanging half way on old town pending and intensive and homework pending~ wo hoo!! OBU as well...pending...pls, when u see me, slap me..

Scannings for SPM Homework Pack

Just to update, the files are in WorkStation 2 already. Under Maths folder, SPM Maths, Scannings. In total 600+ scannings in 716MB. xD So if u dun have a big pendrive, then u have to go thru and see which one is the topic you doing and copy accordingly lo...(For topics distribution, check here)

Just to remind you that, deadline is Wednesday yea...2 more days to gambate! @.@

ps: The books that I took back home will be returned to the rack slowly. Too many books dy. Might take 2 days for me to finish bringing back. xD Lazy bring so many books to college. So yea...If you need any book specifically, please msg me so I can bring here. Thx.

Signing off,
noobiak
KK here.
I've done FORM 5 CH 9 Earth notes,
and attach to our gmail d.
There's 4 file in total,
1 notes
1 cover
1 tutor copy notes
1 tutor copy cover

Trigo

I am currently attaching the notes to the mailbox. so do check it out and print it.

Form4 I plan to finish the syllabus in 2 weeks time, and the last week is revision.
So according to my notes,

week 1: chapter 9.1 and 9.2
week 2: chapter 9.3 and 9.4
week 3: revision

I dont think I attach enough exercise for in class practice. So in case u need extra exercise, you can flip to revision part and pick those relevant one for them. Or you can just simply come out of question in the class also can de. xD

And there is one part the special angle, a lot students usually ask why tan 90 is undefined and stuff like that, so I think using this example you can teach easier ba:

So from the triangles above, the adjacent gets shorter and shorter, until adjacent gets to 0 when the angle is 90 degree. Since tan = opp/adj, tan = 1/0 = undefined.

you show them this and continue with the example of sine and cos lo. So if they ask 180 degree or 270 degree, you teach them to apply the same principle. like tan 180 = - tan 0 degree so = 0 like that.

to KK and CC

Hey ppl, next Wednesday we need to finish setting all homework pack question dy. The homework question pack will be printed and distributed later. So after next 2 weeks finish teaching Earth as a Sphere, Form5 will spend 9 weeks doing revision.

Intensive class exercise is 1 pack, homework revision is another pack. So...gg. But intensive not so rush yet, homework deadline is coming, so we tackle the homework first.

KK:
Week 1
Standard Form - 10 objective
Statistics - 5 objective, 3 subjective

Week 2
Number base - 10 objective
Graphs of function - 5O, 3S (O = objective, S = subjective0

Week 3
The Straight Line - 4O 4S
Area Under the graph - 2O 5S

KB:
Week 4
Probability 1 & 2 - 6O 4S
Variation - 6O
Quadratic Expression & Equation - 6O4S

Week 5
Matrices - 4O 6S
Sets - 3O 4S
Mathematical Reasoning - 2O 6S

Week 6
Transformation III - 2O 3S
Earth As a Sphere - 2O 6S

CC:
Week 7
Trigonometry II - 8O
Angles of Elevation & Depression - 7O

Week 8
Lines & Angles in 3Dimension - 3O5S
Plans & Elevations - 5S

Week 9
Circles III - 10O
Bearing - 7O

*Some topics have never come out subjective in SPM. So we just give objective questions only.*

KK. today when u come TTC take the scannings, I put them in 2 PC dy. Under SPM Maths Scanning folder. But only manage to scan some books. x( I will try to scan more and bring them to TTC on Monday.

CC, ur part I haven scan, at most oso 1 book nia. T_T Will put in during monday oso. Paiseh. T_T

U all try to take those books with solution de la, so we dont have to do so much. XD All has to be submitted on Wednesday. So u all finish dy attach to mailbox n I compile la. Thanks.

ADDITION to kai boon post.

hey guys, the homework right, remember i told ull, we have to prepare 30 questions each chapter. Ur division is wrong, it's like.

we design this topic by, helping them to revise their maths for each week. Each week, we design a weekly revision for them.

conclusion will be, this intensive revision homework pack, we make it to EACH WEEK, maybe to revise 3 to 5 topics. then each topics, maybe 7 to 8 question BUT it has to be super important and exam sure come out one.
*my estimation here might not be a useful estimation to ull, it can be vary based on ur own judgement.

yay!! lets do it guys!!
